I hope everyone is enjoying their memorial day.
For most of us, its hard to stay motivated when it comes to working out to stay in shape, or get in shape. Well, last summer I came up with a work out plan to keep myself motivated and I figured I'd share it with everyone. My work out plan involves a treadmill, a mat, a mirror, sneakers and , my fav, heels!! My work out plan improves the body and self confidence.
What I do first is a little stretch before getting on the treadmill to warm up the muscles in my legs, then 30 minutes-1hr on the treadmill which include change of level and speed (at your own pace). Don't forget to have a playlist to keep you up-beat on the treadmill!! After completing the treadmill work out. I stretch for 20-30 minutes to improve flexibility, build muscle and relax. While stretching the music I use relaxing tunes. After stretching I get into sexy mode lol. I put my favorite heels on and began to do choreography from 2 of Beyonce's videos, "Get Me Bodied", and "Single Ladies". I also sometimes include choreography from recent dance classes I have taken. When doing the choreography in heels, I recommend that it should be done in a mirror. This helps to improve your confidence, show yourself just how beautiful you are!!
Just because this work out worked for me doesn't mean others will be as satisfied. I do encourage everyone to create their, depending on what you like and what your style of dance is.
